Dropping A Line At The PierStopping at the docks and dropping a line. Often this is less about sport and more about feeding a family.













A couple of people fishing off of a pier. It's a scene that is often viewed on the waterfront. Someone pulls a pole out of a pickup truck or some hidden place and drops a line.



Sometimes, it is about a moment of relaxation and sport. Sometimes, it's a Dad getting something more to eat for the family.



Fishing as a commercial entity or an individual is an activity that may be as old as the human race. But no matter the reason, the result is the same; feeding families. And that result makes the activity noble.
