Hôtel du Globe-Tonic Hôtel Saint Germain

This hotel, whose name is changing to Tonic Hotel Saint Germain, is in a XVIIth century’s building, with a medieval atmosphere. The rooms have got character, with exposed beams and stone walls, but there was no space to build an elevator and the stairs are quite narrow and irregular. It’s a really charming place to stay, in the middle of the central and lively 6th area, in a little street two minutes away from Boulevard Saint Germain. In the reception, a nice armour is welcoming you. Before 2003 when the hotel was refreshed, the same owner was running the business for more than 30 years.
