Vail, Colorado, is a wonderful place to visit any time of year. Although this mountain town is best known for skiing and snowboarding, Vail is also lovely in the spring, summer, and fall for relaxing, nature appreciation, outdoor exploration, shopping, and more.Vail is a relatively new town; it was incorporated in 1966, just a decade after I-70 was completed. The interstate passes right by Vail, allowing very easy access for travelers. It just grew and grew from there.
