MAYWOOD — With District 209 students already returned to school and the first day back to school for District 89 students only three days away, the summer recess and the time to cross off bucket list items for most Maywood students is coming to an end. During the last several weeks, the Village of Maywood, in collaboration with local nonprofits, have tried making that transition as smooth as possible.
