A habitat is defined as a specific, unique area that supports plants, animals, and any other biological forms of life. The world is filled with different types of habitats, even though some official resources list only four types of main biomes. Arctic, aquatic, desert, and grassland are just some of the different and diverse habitats spread out across the world.
