When most people visit Iceland, they tend to stay in Reykjavik and explore the southern coast. Iceland’s southern coast is more accessible year-round, so it makes sense that this would be a much more popular area.The south coast gives you a wonderful snapshot of Iceland, especially if you’re only visiting for a few days. If you have the chance to stay in Iceland for at least a week, though, then exploring north Iceland should be high on your list.
