[On Sunday, January 17 I happily came to Wycliffe College to celebrate the birthday of a good friend. When I got there, well, I found out that the celebration was not for a birthday, but to honour the 20th anniversary of my ministry as a Christian Reformed Campus minister at the University of Toronto. It took a community of a couple hundred people to keep this a secret from me, with my family and the members our staff team at the heart of the deception!
