Best Time to Visit Lake Como
The best time of the year to visit Lake Como, Italy, is during the summer. Compared to much of Italy — and any other warm-weather destinations — Lake Como stays relatively cool year-round. June, July, August, and September are the only months out of the year where the temperatures average above 70°F during the day, but tourism will also be at its peak. So if you don’t want to deal with a bunch of other tourists and have crowds to contend with, you might want to consider visiting in May or October, but the temperatures are a bit cooler (typically in the low to mid-60s. It’s also one of the wettest places among the popular tourist destinations in Italy, with well over half the months in the year averaging over 5” of rain annually.
