Every year, I look forward to the full bloom of beautiful cherry blossoms in Spring in Amsterdam and the entire Netherlands. It’s partly because we survived the last six months of torrential rain, sleet, and hail. That’s part of life living in the Netherlands.But the most important thing is recognizing how bad weather makes you appreciate good weather. And cherry blossom season is an excellent opportunity to experience the true beauty surrounding us (and why it needs all that winter rain).
