Social capital is becoming increasingly important for businesses, according to a Deloitte and Touche report. Even traditional for-profit enterprises are considering their impact on society as integral.The survey shows that 65 percent of executives rated inclusive growth as a top concern. The percentage is three times higher than those who listed shareholder value as a top concern.
