PHOENIXVILLE — Pedestrian Crash Critically Injures 16-Year-Old

PHOENIXVILLE, PA (August 19, 2025) — A 16-year-old is in critical but stable condition at the hospital after getting hit by a car while walking in Phoenixville on Tuesday morning, August 19, police said.

The crash occurred at around 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of Main St and Smithworks Boulevard, police said. The teen was taken to the hospital by an ambulance following the collision.

The accident remains under investigation and Phoenixville Police are urging anyone who witnessed or has information on the incident to call Detective Nilda Jimenez at 610-933-1180, extension 867.
